Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) was founded in 1964 as Rajshahi Engineering College. In 2003 it is converted to University. It has 3654 students and 2500 prominent faculty members. It has 28 departments under 4 faculties. It has seven residential halls (Six halls for male another one for female halls).

Minimum Requirement of RUET Admission Test:
| Candidates must be the citizen of Bangladesh. |
| Candidates have to pass SSC in 2017/2018 and must obtain GPA 4.00 in SSC |
| Candidates have to pass HSC in 2020. Students must get GPA 4.00 separately in Math, Physics, Chemistry and GPA 3.50 in English. Totally he must get 18.50 points in these following four subjects (Math, Physics, Chemistry, English) |
