Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU) is located Tangail, which is 75 kilometers north-west of the capital city Dhaka. It is 12 the government finance public university of Bangladesh. On the other hand, MBSTU is the 2nd Science & technology university of Bangladesh. It is in Shantos, the south-western part of the Tangail District. Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University has 57 acres of land. It has various types of disciplines under five faculties. It has five residential halls (3 male hall & 2 female hall).

Minimum Requirement for MBSTU Admission:
- SSC passing year 2017 or 2018 & HSC Passing Year 2019 or 2020. You have to get GPA 3.00 (without 4th subject) separately in SSC & HSC exam. Total minimum GPA (SSC + HSC) should be 6.50 out of 10.00.
- Science students can attend in every unit (A,B,C,D) but Arts & Commerce students can attend in only D unit.
- A Unit : You must have GPA 3.00 separately in Physics & Mathematics.
- B unit : You must have GPA 3.00 separately in Biology & Chemistry
- C unit :You must have GPA 3.00 separately in Math, Physics & Chemistry.
