Khulna University is a public university of Bangladesh. It is situated in Gollamari, Khulna, beside the Khulna-Shatkhira Highway. It is one & only public university of Bangladesh where students politics are not allowed. Khulna University started it’s academic programs on 31st August, 1991 with 80 students in four disciplines. Now Khulna University has 29 disciplines under 8 schools and 1 institute. Khulna University has 4 students’ halls, One of them is for female. Another 2 hall are under construction.
