Cumilla University is located in Kotbari, Cumilla. This university area is 250 acres of land at Shalbon Bihar, Moynamoti. The founder vice-chancellor of Cumilla university was Golam Mawlah. Cumilla university has started it’s journey in 27th May 2007 with 300 students and 15 teachers. That time they enroll in 7 departments in 4 faculties. Now Cumilla university has 19 departments under 6 faculties. There are 4 residential halls in Cumilla University. One is for female students, another three for male students.

Candidates must pass SSC in 2017/2018 & HSC in 2019/2020.
| A Unit | Only Science faculty students can apply for this unit. They have to get total GPA 6.50 including SSC & HSC with 4th subject. |
| B Unit | Science, Arts & Commerce students can apply for this Unit. Applicants must get GPA 6.00 including SSC & HSC with 4th subject. |
| C Unit | Science, Arts & Commerce students can apply for this Unit. Applicants must get GPA 6.00 including SSC & HSC with 4th subject. |
