It is established as university in 1st September, 2003. It is situated in Raozan Upazila, Chittagong. It is 25 k.m. away from the Chittagong city. CUET is one of the most prominent engineering university in Bangladesh. It has 15 departments under 5 faculties. It has 6 residential hall (5 halls for male and 1 halls for female).

| Candidates must be the citizen of Bangladesh |
| SSC passing year 2017/2018 & HSC passing year must be in 2020 |

| In HSC or equivalent exam candidates must have total point 17.50 in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & English. |
