Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University (BSMRMU) is the 37th government finance public university of Bangladesh. It is established in 2013. It is first government finance maritime university of Bangladesh. As well as Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University is 3rd maritime university in South Ashia & 12th Maritime univeristy in the world ! The temporary campus of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University is located in Pallabi, Mirpur 12. But the permanent campus will be established at Hamidchar, Bakolia in Chittagong which will cover 106 acres of land.

- For Faculty of Earth and Ocean Science you have to answer from – English, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

- For LLB in Maritime Law & BBA in Port Management & Logistics you have to answer from – Bangla, English, Critical Reasoning, Analytical ability & GK.
